What Will YOU Offer?
“Silver or gold I do not have, but what I have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk!” Acts 3:6
As believers in Christ, we possess the power that raises the dead living inside of us! If we are baptized in the Holy Spirit, that power is released to bring healing and deliverance to others.
So what will you offer – silver, gold, or freedom?
According to Jesus, compassion is action, not a feeling. When Jesus “was moved with compassion”, somebody was healed.
Mark 16:15 commands, “…Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature…”
But we stop there. We hesitate to read on…
“…Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; and with their hands they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it shall never hurt them; they will lay hands upon the sick, and they will be well.” Mark 16:16-18
Did you know that “preaching the gospel” includes signs and wonders? For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power. 1 Corinthians 4:20
Too often we rely on money to eradicate the works of satan, and quite bluntly, to convince our souls that we did well. Please do not misunderstand me – money is needed to fund Kingdom work (see Prosperity Of The Believer – A Taboo Topic). But if we constantly give only silver and gold, when will the lame walk?
So I challenge you today – lay hands on the sick and see them healed. If you are born-again and believe that these signs will follow you, the sick will recover. Period. Whether instantaneous or a progressive healing, the power to heal, deliver and raise the dead lives within every believer full of the Spirit.
Jesus brought sight to the blind, raised the dead, healed the broken-hearted and made lame men walk…
He drove out disease and infirmity, including cancer. And if you are born-again and spirit-filled, where does Christ’s Spirit now dwell?
Be bold in Christ. Step out in faith. Do not allow a spirit of fear, doubt or unbelief hinder you any longer! The world is dying! Someone you love may be dying! Lay hands on the sick and they shall be made well!
Your guarantee? God’s very Word. Jesus IS the Word and He lives in YOU.
So again I ask – what will YOU offer this hurting, broken world today? Silver, gold…or FREEDOM!
